Last updated on April 8th, 2020 at 06:49 am

Guided winter snowshoe hikes are organised at many resorts in this province in the west of Austria.

Those who visit the region with their own transport will be able to join up with a guided snowshoe walk organised by the village tourist offices virtually every day of the week during the winter months.

Here is just a small sample of what different Vorarlberg mountain resorts are offering as guided snowshoe walks during with upcoming winter:

Snowshoe guide Daniel accompanies a tour through the Fohramoos nature reserve at Bödele in the Bregenzerwald on Wednesdays from 09.00 (from early December to mid-March 2020). The snow cover hides a largely intact upland moor that is lined by moorland forests. You can always combine the two-hour circuit with a rest and some refreshments at one of the ski huts around Bödele.
