Lots of new things are happening this winter in Kaprun and with the TAUERN SPA resort complex.
Starting from this winter, skiers will be able to ski directly from the centre of Kaprun to the snow-sure Kitzsteinhorn glacier ski area.
The first stage of the journey, which covers over 2,000 metres of altitude difference, will be covered by the Maiskogel lift, which opened last winter. From the top station, the new twelve-kilometre-long ski area connection called “k-onnection” leads into the glacier ski area.

The four-star resort TAUERN SPA in Kaprun is also reporting something new.
They are opening a new large panorama spa area with a pool where skiers can gaze onto the Kitzsteinhorn glacier.
And, from December 2019, the spa resort is adding 51 new rooms and suites, furnished with wood, sandstone and leather. Distracting light sources and radiation can be deactivated in the new rooms. The “green button” helps support deep and healthy sleep.
